I have over five years' experience with technical product management with proven expertise in guiding web products from conception to launch.

Bio
I grew up in Athens, Georgia, in the southern United States and did my undergraduate degree at Wake Forest University in North Carolina. I moved to London, UK, for a masters degree in Middle Eastern studies at the School of Oriental and African Studies. I then worked for 4 years at Travelfusion, an internet software company, as a product manager and design strategist. Then I moved to Damascus, Syria, for 8 months to live and study Arabic. I returned back to the USA in May 2011 after being abroad for a total of 6 years.
Philosophy
I'm passionate about communication tools and technology. I believe in accessible information: it fuels the collective intelligence and generates greater shared cultural knowledge, which can help provide the means and inspiration for individuals to improve themselves and their communities.
